Re: Hello All

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Hello All
Actually followed a link from the coast. Great form also sweet that we get a discount at Nobal Grape. Plus I have been thinking about group buying for a while. SO SWEET!

Re: Hello All

I don't think I got a BN discount at NG on my last order. Don't think they believed me when they put my info in the system. Who wants to teach me the secret handshake?

Re: Hello All
Welcome!
Sorry to hear that you had a hard time at NG. We've been struggling a little with the discount lately, and we've not heard a consistent story from them (who is eligible, what is the discount percent, etc). They are trying to keep mon-Brewnosers from getting it, but as we don't have a secret handshake (except maybe bringing a pint to your mouth) or membership card that's been approved by them, we're at their mercy. I've spoken to Steve about it a few times, but we haven't had any resolution. Sorry again!
