Hello from Moncton
Hey all,
Wanted to say hi, I'm new to home brewing and in the Moncton area. Been breaking myself in with kits but altering them in secondary. Very eager to get into all grain just taking it slow in getting gear so my wife doesn't murder me.
I've been signed up for awhile but mainly reading and soaking in information. Thought it was about time to type something so someone else to read haha. Cheers everyone!

Re: Hello from Moncton

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

My wife stopped believing that I'd actually save money about two ontariobeerkeg orders ago.

Re: Hello from Moncton
I'm part of the Moncton contingent and would love to start up a local group. We should meet up at the Laudromat for a beer some time with Araxi.

Through all the searching I've been doing around home brewing I came across the group. It was by accident but one that is of great reward. Local brewers are the best kind I must say.mr x wrote:![]()

Steve I think I stopped believing it too after I doubled my arsenal and went all glass. Next is a nice pot and some grains. Then... Then it balances out right? Oh wait... Then there's getting into keggingethier.sc wrote:My wife stopped believing that I'd actually save money about two ontariobeerkeg orders ago.
