New from Dartmouth
Hey gang, beer lover and a noobie brewer. Just started and already it has become my new obsession. I have a cream ale in bottles now and started a west coast ipa yesterday which is bubbling just nicely. I tend to be a bit of a curious person and want to learn as much as I can on the subject. ...oh and I love sitting with the boys drinking some brew
Looking forward to hanging out on this forum.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Re: New from Dartmouth
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: New from Dartmouth
Welcome aboard!
You're just in time to join us at our annual Hoptoberfest event on September 28th. The thread is here (http://www.brewnosers.org/forums/viewto ... &start=125" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), but the important details are:
-Lots of food (we ask for $5 to cover the cost of sausages being made up for the group, and if you have a favourite side/snack, to bring it to share)
-Lots of beer (if you have been to share, bring it! Otherwise, there's never a shortage of world class stuff the guys bring)
-Lots of great people (not only beer nerds , friends and spouses and kids and dogs are welcome)
-Located at X's place, near the Halifax Forum (PM him for the details)
Hope to meet you there!
