Well, I finally got around to looking up Brewnosers...I've been a member over at Homebrewtalk for a few years now, and have no idea why I never went local, shame on me

I've been brewing for about 12 years give or take. I generally make full-boil extract batches with specialty grains, and enjoy messing around with ingredients/procedures to see what happens (as in the delicious 'Nova Scotia Black Ale' I have on tap right now....take that BJCP). Beersmith has been instrumental in helping me raise my game.

(One day I'll stop being so cheap and go all-grain)

Next step is finding and planting some NS hops in the spring...any advice for where to source local hop rhizomes would be greatly appreciated.

So many years and so much more to learn....looking forward to some great conversations!

Haha, going all grain is cheaper if you don't have the constant need for more shiny stuff

:welcome:

Ya, and that's the frustrating part! It's more the up-front set-up costs....

Welcome. Don't listen to those other guys. Open up the purse strings and let her fly. Spend spend spend.. got to help the Canadian economy. Going all grain would be the best you ever did regarding the final beer IMO. I know it was for me. I love my beer.
