'Nother newb in Halifax

Hi folks.

I've been considering the possibility of homebrew for a while now, but push came to shove this year when NSLC ditched my favorite no-thought-required beer this summer. I was also lucky enough to be given a full home brewing kit (wine) by a family member. Now that I've satisfied the spousal negotiation process by getting a couple of wines on the go, I've got the go-ahead to get into the beer.

Being that I have no idea how to start slow, I'm building out kit to go all-grain from day one. So I expect I'll be tapping this board for advice damn near constantly ;)
