Hey there!

Howdy!

My boyfriend (Derek) and I have been home brewing for a few years. So far we have only done the Festa Brew kits, and Derek has added hops to a couple of our more recent batches, and it has turned out well. He usually deals with the beer, and I deal with the wine. We also snagged one of the Tideview ciders from Noble Grape-it's our first cider, and I'm excited to try it!

We'd like to get in to brewing from scratch sometime soon. This seems like a great place for information!

Festas are a great way to start! They make some tasty beers and kickstart the addiction to brewing. We haven't moved too far past them yet, just a couple of all grains with other brewers. The Brewnosers are a great crew and this forum has been an invaluable resource.

Welcome! I also moved away from Festa kits in the summer. I would personally recommend the Partial Grain kits you can get as the next step as it's fairly an inexpensive step.

Check out https://www.everwoodavebrewshop.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for your brewing needs. Dave is our well known secret around here, is a brewer himself, and can get you setup with just about anything you need and is located out in Hammonds plains.

If you have any questions, let us know :cheers2:
