Hello there, my name is Steffen from Baie Verte, NB. First brew ever was in my dorm room at UNB in 1986, not my best work, but is was cheap and surved it's purpose at the time. Have gotten away from making beer and got into the wine making and distilling at Winegarden Estates in Baie Verte. A course at NBCC Grand Falls last fall sparked my interest and re-initiation into beer, besides my wife told me I needed a hobby - besides building our house, that is. I've been collecting equipment for the last little bit and just started to "graduate" from kits to extract/grain and will be going to all grain on the next batch.

It's great to have a forum such as this to gather/dissiminate information, ask for help/advise and input. Really looking forward to this journey into the land of hops and barley. Cheers, S.
