Just moved to Wolfville from the States. Appalled at the prices in your monopolized liquor stores and with a little more space here, why not give it a shot. Picked up stuff from Wine Kitz New Minas this morning - one of the Festa kits - here we go.

lots of good micros around NS some even in the valley area. Most of them don't sell through the NSLC so keep an eye out for them, we have a good beer map at this thread
