Allow myself to introduce....myself

Post by BeerMouth » Sun Mar 22, 2015 8:32 am

Hi there! I'm Clint. I hail from Port Hawkesbury, NS where I am the founder of the Port Hawkesbury beer league (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Port-Haw ... 5164834137). I like IPA's, DIPA's, Belgian, and walks on the beach. I have never brewed before but that might change today as I attempt to brew a stout with a Best Case kit. Wish me luck! I'm looking forward to contributing to the beer community here! Thanks! -Clint

:welcome: have fun making the stout! :cheers:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

It's a pleasure.

Careful with that brewing, it's an addictive hobby.

Welcome aboard, Clint! One of our members owns the homebrew shop in town, but you probably already knew that. :) Jason will be able to hook you up with all of the supplies and knowledge you need.

Good luck on your first homebrew!

Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe
