My girlfriend and I are moving out to Halifax in the summer and I just wanted to say hey. We are both wondering about your club, do you guys run meetings?

Hello, and welcome. It's a great club, active, laid back, "meetings" (beer tastings) but no committees, functions, beer exchanges, competition this year, lots of lively discussion.

Hi!

We have members all over the Atlantic Provinces (and beyond), with a few spots holding regular meetings. The most consistent meeting is in Halifax, every month, always on the second Tuesday. We hold it at someone's house, and will get anywhere from 5 to 25 people drop by to share and drink homebrew and other interesting beer. You and your girlfriend are more than welcome! Check that out in the "Events" sub-forum.

Also, check out the "Official Stillwell" or "Official Rockbottom" etc threads, where folks will try and rally some troops to head out for a pint. You can almost be guaranteed to see 2 or 10 Brewnosers at Stillwell at noon on Saturday, for instance.

Welcome aboard! And good call on waiting till summer, we should be down to less than 2 feet of snow on the ground by then.
