Howdy, I'm relatively new to home brewing. I've done a few kits now and one failed all grain batch (although another one will soon be in the works). Plans are to start kegging with the next batch.

Looking forward to tapping into some of the knowledge from others in this forum.

Welcome aboard!

Hopefully we can help you out, to avoid future failures. Or at least embrace them. :) Any ideas where it went wrong? Need some help with any parts of the process in particular?

Many brewers are happy to have a brewbuddy along for a day, so you can see how your fellow brewers are doing it. If possible, shadow a few, to pick the best practices from several folks.
Cheers!

I think I was set up for disaster from the beginning. My first batch was an all grain kit my wife had picked me up as a present. It was a combination of not having the right equipment, cleaning everything properly and not knowing exactly what should happen next. I've stuck to Festa Brew kits since to get used to the fermentation process and bottling. Plan to try out the all grain again very soon.

I'd definitely be up for assisting a pro to see how this should be done. If anyone in the Quispamsis, NB area ever needs any help or would like to impart some knowledge during brew day please let me know.

There's a few of them around here, I'm sure they'd love to have you over.
