SaltyDog - New brewnoser in Saint John

Hey everyone,
I'm a new member to Brewnosers although I've been meaning to join for a while now. I've been brewing for a few years now but only started taking it seriously the past 6 months. I've been doing extract batches with specialty grains for about 2 years, mostly using Best Case kits. Since I started taking brewing more seriously I've beed doing a lot of reading on the subject (John Palmer's "How to Brew" being my main reference), built a kegerator, a temperature controlled fermentation chamber and have bought and have been storing my own ingredients.
I really want to get good at homebrewing and eventually start making my own unique recipes. I thought this would be a good place to talk about homebrewing with a group of people who share my interest.
Anyway, just wanted to post something as a newcomer. I'm sure I'll be posting some questions in the future, and I look forward to meeting all of you.
Cheers,
SaltyDog
P.S. Fun first question: "What do you think is the most important thing you've learned about brewing so far?"
