Re: anyone buy entire grains?
Unfortunately their website doesn't list a price but they do have them. I'll have to look the next time I'm in. Knowing bulk barn they will be grossly overpriced but I might be wrong. I don't care about organic certification but it seems most people buying whole grains do so that inflates the price through many suppliers.
The reason for my research is that I'm actually considering getting a small countertop mill so I could use green stone ground flour in my bread experiments, but I could also share my unmalted grains between that, brewing applications, and wheat berry risotto (damn good and filling, seriously. Reheats better than rice based too so it's great to take in tupperware for lunch if I'm working at a site with a microwave)
