Aeropress for latte

Anyone using one for making a latte? What's your brewing method?

I recently picked up an Aeropress and a decent grinder - just wondering what seems to be the best way to brew to make a latte, since most of the instructions online seem to be geared toward brewing a coffee. Should the amount of beans be increased, total water decreased, etc?

Been talking to him about equipment - not sure of his experience with an Aeropress.

Let me know what you find out. I ordered one the other day to fill up my amazon cart past the free shipping mark. Haven't used it yet.

If you're just looking to make a coffee, TimG can probably answer that - he's been using one quite frequently with good results.

Kegger, let's hear some tips!

Ya I made coffee daily with my aeropress, really like it.. I don't know how 'good' the coffee is, I don't really have anything to compare it to other than shitty drip coffee. I haven't messed around with weight of beans/water ratio much at all, really only do 19g / 300ml water and I like that strength (black, none of that milk/cream/sugar BS). I do an inverted fill and let it 'steep' for 2 minutes and then press.

I've been meaning to do some research on how various changes affect the end result (grind size, bean/water ratio, steep time, etc).. be nice to find a simple little book that did that in laymens terms. Jimmy, you're good at finding books! ha

Tim, what's the process you've been using to brew? I know it was inverted..

I've been doing the following:

-add ~1 scoop (18g) of beans ground to espresso setting
-heat water to 200* and top up to marking # 1
-stir and let sit for 1 minute
-press

Umm.. see above? :?

I essentially just fill to near the top with water (when inverted).
