Excellent, very moist and tender. But I think I'll want just a bit of finishing sauce for a sandwich.

Grilling Sunday

Post by NASH » Sun Apr 10, 2011 11:08 pm

I got into some grilling while you were smoking. I grabbed a 12oz tuna steak, seared it off at 600F and made some spicy buttermilk panko onion rings :)

me thinks we need a food porn thread

I still have a couple lbs or so in the freezer, I needed to get something slightly more healthy than this into me after a few days of it...

Very nice! I smoked my first pork shoulder on Sat. No pics though. It turned out pretty good - only my 3rd time using the new smoker and I'm still learning how to control the temp on the thing. I woulda liked it a little more tender, but it still pulled apart quite easily.

This was killer with a little bit of finishing sauce. Next time, I'm doing more than one though.
