I got some last year from a store in ottawa, it was great to use. So if you do find som I'm in.

There's a supplier in Ontario. Pricey, at $30/lb per chips, but their American supplier is retailing them for $24.99, so not so bad, relatively speaking. Apparently, you go light with them, so maybe not so bad a price - they claim 20 smokes per bag. The 'parent' US site sells chunks much cheaper. if we got enough people, maybe approach the CDN about a custom order....

The bag I bought was about the size of a coffee bag half full and lasted two cooks. It was at a little Caribbean store in Vanier I think.

I think the ontario suppler actually gets theirs from the other guy, there's similar phrases on both sites. As for importing, I made a call and you'd likely have to have an import permit, certified release form and customs inspection. Probably manageable for a business but a huge PITA for personal use. Sorry for the lead on :oops:

But he should be able just to ship by mail like any other parcel. I've ordered wood products from the US with no problems.
