I'm looking to pick up a decent meat grinder. I've never owned one before so looking for some advice. I obviously want a good one, but not something that costs two arms and three legs.
Any help would be appreciated.

The little $100 grinders are enough for most home users. Or a kitchenaid grinder attachment. But the Cabelas is the shit. You know, they're serviceable, last forever, better grind, easy to clean professional grade stuff. Depends what you want.

Looks great to me. You're likely getting more bang for the buck on this one since you're not paying for all the stainless. 500w with #12 head as opposed to 375w with #8 head on the 1/2 horse pro series.
