I could likely sell you my medium Green Egg for a reasonable price in the name of helping a fella out

Let me know if you're interested.

How much are you looking for? I still haven't decided if I want electric or charcoal, but might be interested anyway!

Well they're completely different animals. The egg is a grill and a smoker and the flavour of the food off these things will blow any electric or Gasser out of the water. That's just an fyi  Also with a fan controller they can be left a long time unattended.

Anyhow I'll likely take about $450 for it with the stand, they're over $1K new. Also has a cast iron grate, a cover and a 'plate-setter' to go with it which are not included with new ones.

If you don't want it that's cool, I'm not really trying to sell it just thought it might help you out since it sits here doing nothing most of the time. I always use the Primo.

That's a pretty good deal at that price with the stand and heavy grates. Probably should buy it myself for the cottage, lol.

The electric might be easy, and convenient, but it's charcoal FTW AFAIAC.

This hasn't sold yet?! You people are mad! Mad I tells you!!!

If I thought I could justify this purchase to the 'others', this would be gone. Alas, the KK purchase was the line in the sand.....

I'd love to buy this, but don't know about the restrictions for charcoal grilling at the building I live in. I am going to look into it, and see if I can scrounge up the money for it. If it sells before I get around to it, no big deal..I don't want to hold up a potential sale for you.

And btw, the smoked porter is good. I had a couple last night :cheers2:

Ah, Mr. Nash,
Thank you for the kind and considerate welcome to the Royal Order of Ceramic Grillers and Water Buffalos. I have received my club decoder ring and have now learned the special handshake. I've got my sights set on beef ribs this weekend and will let you know how they turn out. Cant' wait.
Sincerely,
JohnnyMac

lmfao

Gonna try beef ribs eh? I've had miserable experience with beef ribs - mainly finding good quality cuts.

The Nashster tells me that Pete's has some good ones. I'm with you though, if I can't get decent ones, I'll roll with pork.

Yes, he did mention that he got some good ones there. I think there's a thread about that on ns4sale or maybe the primo site. CT on Quinpool has 8kg bags of Royal Oak lump for $12.99. That's a good deal for this time of year. It may be labelled wrong as it says $14.99 up front, but they'll have to honor the $12.99 in the aisle.
