I was just googling this the other day! I just hope they move to a better venue.

Competition's 4 days away, and nobody's trash talking each other or bragging about what they're gonna put in their sauce?

Unfortunately this year there's a major conflict with Hoptoberfest ... see events section. I'll be attending both and bringing my "A" game for both ribs and wings!
So Mr. Marsh - BRING IT ON!!!

Interesting... haven't read 100% through the event thread, but a big get together of beer and food sounds awesome. Maybe I'll pop by afterwards - I won't have any beer to bring, but I s'pose I could bring some leftover competition-winning ribs

Nice lookin' wings. I'll throw some chicken thighs on the smoker for eats during the competition.

Things are just too busy for me to participate this year. Last year was fun and I'll definitely keep in mind for next year.

I think a summer brewnosers beer and bbq day would be pretty sweet, kind of like a scaled down big strange brew.

2nd Place Derek, That's Great! Congratulations.

First place in my heart! Sorry we didn't get to chat last night.

FYI, Derek is the only competitor to place in the top three in all three runnings of this competition. Consistently great!

Thanks guys - the rib comp is lots of fun. Hopefully there's no conflict next year and we can get a few Brewnoser's out for a fun day for a great cause.

Has there been any word on the 4th Annual Fall River BBQ Competition?

Nothing mentioned yet, but if so, most likely the 3rd weekend in September.
