Nothing overly exciting here but after trying Pad Thai from several take out spots here in St John's and not finding anything that was decent I decided to give it a go from scratch. It turned out really nice but I'll tweak the sauce for next time to balance the heat with a little more sweetness.

That's right Mr.X. It will be a beer and food menu that has a few staples but lots of experimental creations to keep things interesting. I hope to get some Brewnosers down to do some collaboration brews.

Pork shoulder is on sale at Superstore. I ground up a little over a pound for some quick pork burgers - added a bit of chili flake for some kick. Lost all the hair off my hand / arm while seasoning and adding cheese ...
