Cheers

Expressions Of Wood sells leftover bits of cherry from furniture making. Big-ass onion bags full for $4 - https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Expres ... 677224e7fb" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also, oak booze barrels make amazing smoking wood and are usually pretty cheap once spent. A few of us chunk and split them up after aging beer in them. Bad Apple (Hphunter here) might have some extras still kicking around so I'd drop him a line :cheers2:

Here's a summary of pricing as laid out in the thread:
25lb = $70 = $14 for 5lb
30lb = $90 = $15 for 5lb
25+10 = $80 = $11.50 for 5lb
30+10 = $90 = $11.25 for 5lb

Looks like our best option is the 30+10, which also allows us to choose up to four different woods, so folks don't have to buy one type in bulk. And maybe if we do a variety, folks could trade a pound amongst each other, making our own variety packs?

People who have a preference for the wood type, please be sure to mark it beside your name, or message me and I'll update the following list.

Sandy: Swine (Ryan) said he'd like 5lb before I did, so I've added him here. B-boy and Taylor have yet to respond to this once the group buy was opened, I imagine they'd be interested.
I'd also suggest leaving this open for a few more days, as we may hit a higher milestone, and he may give us an even better discount.

Walmart always has some here in the summer. We have BBQ galore here all year around which has a great selection but rather expensivez

No

Can you ask the dude if there are benefits for going even bigger? Cuz if not, maybe we just cut it off here.

How long do you typically soak your chunks prior to smoking, if at all?

I'm going to order the Peach for Jeff, GAM, Swine, Chris, Derek, AAron, Sean, Mike . That's 40lbs.

If the others reach the minimum limit We can look at that.

Sandy
