The new collaboration brew is being launched next week in honour of our graphic designer and long-time friend Colin Allin, who died a week ago. Partial proceeds of sales will go to Colin's family.

You wouldn't happen to have a list of the select private stores where it's available?

As far as I know, we're providing two pallets to each private store requesting them - Bishop's Cellar, Premier Wines, Cristall & Luckett, Harvest Wines ...

I'll have a better idea once the orders come in on Wednesday morning! The biggest supply will be available at the brewery, of course.

Launch party is tonight. The Mash-up Belgian IPA will be available at the brewery from 5 p.m. on and at private stores in Halifax Thursday morning. Each store is allowed a few cases due to limited supply. The batch is a bit smaller than anticipated, so it won't last long ...

I'm taking some orders from folks in NB, and they've asked couple questions. These coming in 500ml bottles? Do you know what the price per bottle will be?

That's right Ron, they're being sold in 500ml bottles. The bottles will be $4.95 each (tax in). The reason for this price is that $1 from the sale of each bottle will go to Colin Allin's family. Colin was our graphic designer for 10+ years. He died during the Canada Day weekend after being robbed and shot. We want to make sure he's remembered, so we're dedicating this beer to him.

Anyone here try this yet? Is anyone planning on buying some? If so, would you be willing to grab a couple extra for me...

I would have grabbed one or two, but my arms aren't quite long enough to get them from here.

Not to worry, we definitely have Belgian IPA left! I'm setting aside a bottle for chalmers. PEIBeerGuy, I can set one aside for you, too, but our supplies aren't dangerously low yet.

That would be great if you could.

Sure thing, akr71. I'll keep an eye on supplies, and if they get low, I'll set a few aside. Not to worry!

Meg, is there any of this left? I haven't had a chance to make it into the city since early summer. A buddy might be stopping by over the weekend to grab me some, if there is still some set aside.

If there isn't any left at Garrison, I have a couple in my fridge that your buddy could take. Just PM me.

Sorry I missed your message yesterday, akr71. Unfortunately, we don't have any Belgian IPA left. We do have Oktoberfest Brau and 3 Fields Harvest Ale, though.

Like Rob, I have a couple bottles left at home.
One of us can likely bring a bottle to hoptoberfest for you if you'll be coming in.

Andy's not going to make it to Hoptoberfest, but I'll be there and I could relay the bottle for him.
