Wort Preheater

Post by RossBee » Fri Nov 27, 2015 1:20 am

Just got a hold of this lovely 40 foot 3/4" stainless steel coil. Wondering, anyone ever thought of pre-heating wort between the lauder tun and boil kettle?

Can't you just light your burner while you transfer from mash tun to boil kettle?

I'd love to find some cheap SS tube to make a HERMS set up using a induction hotplate
