Anyone interested in taking part in a Learn to Homebrew Day event? I think I'll contact Noble Grape and see if they'll get on board.

I've asked them on FB, and now by email, if Noble Grape would like to have any part in this. Maybe the group could do a demo at one of their shops?
If that falls through (or even if it doesn't), we should get an idea of how many people would like to "learn", and who might be willing to demo.
The Brewnosers Collab Demo in September was well attended by new and experienced brewers, with one brave soul sticking it out for the whole thing, but it would have been nice to see more new faces hoping to learn. Don't be shy, we don't bite. :)

We have a big brew in the works on this side ... perhaps, I'll see a BIAB in action from Liam.

Hopefully there will be a few of us brewing.

Nothing from NG yet, but I'll keep trying. Anyone heading to the Burnside shop (or any of them) want to mention it to them?

Hi guys, I heard from Steve Haynes, and unfortunately (but fortunately for them!), they are in the midst of their biggest sale and busiest time of the year, so they won't be able to take part.

So, let's go ahead and do it ourselves. Is anyone willing and able to donate their brewing space on the 3rd for some guys to come by and brew and learn? Transporting systems can be a pain, but it would be cool to see a couple of methods in action (partial mashing, all-grain (BIAB and traditional), etc. it does look like we've got at least a couple of interested students!

I *MIGHT* be available, depending on time of day, as well as if anything comes up.

I could probably bring my stand, allowing us to do 3 BIAB at once. I'd rather not have to bring the stand because it's a PITA to get it off my balcony, down the apartment hallway, in the elevator, and on my truck..but if it's necessary, it could be done.

I would be interested in learning about different techniques and brews. I am going to buy the starter kit from NG soon and just offered $60 for the keg fridge that one of you re-posted in the classifieds. I want to get into kegging and avoid the hassels of bottles so i'd be interested in seeing that part of the brewing process in action.

I will keep watching for details or time and place.

Hey guys, due to underwelming response elsewhere, I'll be happy to host Saturday. I will have the Feruz Cres gear ("traditional", 3 vessel all grain setup). Would someone be willing to bring a BIAB setup to show that off?

I will be brewing my contribution to the Single Hop experiment, and am happy to brew a double batch so someone can leave with a bucket/carboy (you supply it) of a Challenger Pale Ale. First who chimes in is the winner!

Jimmy, could you please move this or create an event for this?

I'd like to get started at 11am. I live in Spryfield. EMAIL me (better than PM) for my exact address and phone number.
