Re: Post a picture of your pint!
This was just a test this time. The two were both made separately and blended but my plan is to ferment with wheat beer yeast probably Wyeast 3638 and then finish it up with a champagne yeast.
I really liked how dry and spicy it was. I had added a little rye to my usual wheat recipe and I think it went really well with the wine. Can't wait to brew a batch. Hoping the wheat yeast will give it lots of spice and the champagne yeast will dry it up. We'll see. Also thinking of inoculating a couple champagne bottles of this stuff with some lambic beer just to see what happens.

Every beer has its place and there is nothing like a Light Side Lager after a hot day on the farm. Ahhhh

This is the Festabrew Altbier. Really nice beer after it's been aged in around 4 months. Plus it is easy to make, just clean, steralize and add some yeast.

Re: Post a picture of your pint!
First pour of this years pumpkin ale. Turned out a bit darker than I'd planned, but super malty with a slight bit of spice.

Re: Post a picture of your pint!
My very first stout. Could be drier, and a bit of fruit from a warn spell in the house during fermentation. But still tastes pretty good at beer o'clock on a Monday

Framboise Lambic. You know it's a serious beer when there is foil, a cap and a cork. Haha. Damn that's a great beer. Gotta thank Chalmers for turning me into the lambics.

A serious beer indeed, Barr! You're welcome, though with the tough time finding them in decent supply around here, you should probably be blaming me.

Re: Post a picture of your pint!
This is the only beer my wife likes and they are from half a world away. Great!! So I think I need to learn how to brew them. I know it's a monumental task so I'll need some of your wisdom Chalmers. Been doing some studying for awhile and it seems totally different. I love a challenge.chalmers wrote:A serious beer indeed, Barr!
