Tomorrow sleepyjamie and I are brewing a double batch of Black IPA. I also have enough ingredients for another brew and thinking of giving an ESB another try since my first shot turned out shitty.

I'm mashing my ESB now. Temps falling more than usual but I'm dealing with it. The first wort hops are ready to go. This is my first time using the brew bag from Jimmy and an analog temp probe in this pot. My walmart remote probe gave up after only a handful of brews. :(

I just bought a second hand Big Green Egg - got me thinking of summer so I'm going to try out the Summer Ale from Radical Brewing on Friday. 8 weeks of aging should put it right at the start of bbq season! not sure yet what to brew Sunday...

This weekend Sanitarium, JT, and I are going to be brewing up an IPA and a cali common. We're going to use those 7.3% Hallertau instead of northern brewer in the common and see what happens :cheers2:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

My House Ale. You know, an ale using grains from the top shelf. I have had these in mason jars for 9 months, time to use them up. Also, a strong Belgian Ale using Wyeast Belgian Abbey Ale II. First time using this yeast.

Marzen. I'm calling it a test of willpower to see if I can leave it to lager until September.

Unless the Green beer gets the best of me, I am aiming for an American Pilsner and AK 1917 (that X has posted). :headbang:
On Tap "in bottles": winter beer (spiced beer, nutmeg, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, cloves)
In Secondary:
In Primary: winter beer (spiced beer, nutmeg, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, cloves)

Brewed a 7 hectolitre batch of IPA today. And with tomorrow's great weather forecast, no brew is scheduled. :)
