Clarity Ferm
Has anyone ever put clarity ferm in on the second day of fermentation? Versus adding it when pitching the yeast like the package instructs. I emailed white labs but because of liability they just said "The product must be added as directed or the results cannot be guaranteed". This is obviously a blunder on my part, I forgot to pick it up before hand, and brewed on a Sunday when everything around me was closed. Obviously this can be case by case, I'm just interested in other people's experiences.

I've heard of it still passing the GF test but it's a risk you'd have to take.SFR709 wrote:Has anyone ever put clarity ferm in on the second day of fermentation? I did it. Tested it and passed. But there could be some different variables that might make it less effective so without knowing what they are it would be hard to guess whether this would be an issue.
