So after losing a tank (or two?), I've determined that my regulator has started leaking. The Starsan bubble test has conclusively determined that there's a small leak at the threads of the high pressure valve.

I attempted to unscrew it with a wrench, to see if a new application of teflon tape and re-tightening would resolve it, but I can't budge the damn thing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Any chance it's reverse-threaded?

Yes. Gas lines are always reverse threaded. Give it crank clockwise (righty).
