cold crash suck back

What do you do to avoid getting liquid sucked into your carboy when you cold crash?

I'm using a 3 piece airlock but considering just using tin foil or Ziploc bag with an elastic band.

Any wisdom to share?

I use a blow off tube for primary fermentation but switch to an S type air lock for cold crashing, they let air flow both ways.

thanks. ever have experience with oxidized beer from cold crashing?

I was reading online last night and had never heard of it until then.

I drilled a couple holes in a stopper and fitted it with a blow off tube and a carbonation cap. I just give it a little blast ~ 2-3 psi when I notice the starsan is getting high in the tube and keep the pressure on until the tube is cleared. I still have to check it quite often which is a drawback, especially on the first day the fermenter goes into the fridge. After the initial chill it doesn’t suck as much. I also use this to purge the headspace after dry-hop additions.
If you use a smaller stopper you could likely attach the carbonation cap with a length of hose as opposed to having it sit on top.

If you have an extra keg, rack to keg, put some pressure in the keg, 2-3 psi, cold crash, then transfer to a clean keg? Using a short dip tube or auto siphon

I go with the easier route and use a bung hole cap.
