Walked around this European Market on Sat morning. The produce seemed a little long in the tooth. A huge amount of oranges, some spices (though nothing that exotic). Spices still seem cheaper at bulk barn. I didn't see anything worth coming back for.

This isn't really exotic in any regard, but I was wondering if anybody knew where I could pick up some dried chamomile? I have a few chamomile flowers that grow at the end of my driveway during the summertime but my dog likes to relieve himself there so it's probably not the best source.

I would try Planet Organic. Although, IIRC, you can 100% chamomile flower tea bags at grocery stores...

that's a tough one... I've never come across commercial birch syrup. I know where you can buy taps though...

Yup, planet organic sells dried chamomile in their bulk tea jars, checked today. Around 5$ per 100g

Stone levitation clone after a full days work
7 normal windows, 1 picture window, and a patio door installed. Cleanup tonight. Caulking, and trim tomorrow. And done.

I would try Planet Organic (Organic Earth now?)... I think I saw spelt there last time I was in. Not positive though.

I think bobs red Mill sells it at grocery store organic section, expensive tho. Maybe talk to a homebrew shop about bringing some in?

you could definitely order in whole spelt though the grainery.

Are you looking at malting it yourself?

I am a local chef who has worked with many local Indian chefs. in my experience one of the best places to get decent quality spices is the indian grocery on robie st. His product is always rotating out as he is the main supplier for most of the indian chefs in town and the prices are much cheaper than you would buy at a grocery store or specialty store.
