Flex hose for propane burner

I am just trying to figure out what type of line would go from the propane manifold to the actual burners on a brewing stand. I am guessing you would have a 3/8" male orifice from the back of the burner and a needle valve on the manifold. Would you use a 3/8" orifice on the valve too and connect one of these flex lines between the 2 orifices?

I've never done gas fitting, but 2 orifices doesn't sound right....

For some reason I am having a hard time figuring this out. I am almost at the point where I just want to add a HP regulator to each burner :x

I have seen low priced propane hoses with regulators/orifices at Princess Auto in the surplus section.

For future reference..

Fairview Fittings in Burnside will make up any length propane flex hose with whatever type fitting you need on the ends. I got them to make me some for my stand, 2' long, and they were $10 each.
