Help my buy a kettle.
My current set up is a 5 gallon kettle with a 1500 watt element and 1200 watt induction burner to assist with the boil.
Would like to get something a little bigger in order to do full volume 3 gallon EBIAB batches with the option of doing bigger batches if required so maybe something like 6.5 to 8 gallons.
Is this worth 230$???? (He's quoted me 80$ for shipping)

I like the tri clamps for easy cleanning and the 2 elements instead of induction.
Or should i wait to see if something comes up for sale in the next month or so?

A lot of the links aren't working to see pictures
So it's just the kettle with a couple burners and other associated fittings?
Have you priced at everwood yet?

Any kettle is going to run me about 100$.
The basket maybe another 30-40$
Elements are 30$ a piece
dip tube and ball valve - 30$
tri clamps : I like the ease for cleaning but it is even required?
The tri clamps and basket are what I like about the set up but maybe the bells and whistles are not required!

I'd def check Everwood...this is basically a modded turkey fryer...the "solder" looked dodgy...I think I'd want tig welds and if you've a problem Connecticut is across the line...wader98 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 11:33 amHelp my buy a kettle.

Yeah I would much rather pay extra and have Dave to yell at.

Shitty part is that in the heavy duty kettle Dave only has the 5 and 10 gallons kettles. No 7.5 or 8G.
OBK has a 7.5 for 165$ so i may wait and see if that one ever goes on sale.
