Brewed the batch on the November 23rd. Dry hopped on the 9th of December (took bung out and just tossed the pellets in the carboy. Started cold crashing to 34F on the 12th and kegged on the 14th. When racking to keg i just use the sterile carboy transfer kit from Everwood (Stainless racking cane with rubber hood and sterile air filter). I do not push the starsan out with CO2 so maybe it's oxizidation? Also when hooking up keg to CO2 i only burped the keg twice.
Beer sat on the co2 for a week and tried my first glass on the 21st and tasted and smelt delicious. The aroma is not as strong as it was and it's taken on a grassy taste (not a smooth hop flavor)
I use the same method for all my beers and they all kinda taste the same. So next keg i will either try a closed transfer or at least flush the starsan out with co2.
