Source for Mosaic Hops

Post by capermache » Wed Feb 14, 2018 12:53 pm

First time poster here, sorry if I'm in the wrong place, but I'm looking for an affordable source for mosaic hops. I live in Western Cape Breton, so one possibility would be online, but I'll be on the road this Saturday, could visit stores in Saint John or Halifax.

Looking for mosaic because I'm just getting into dry hopping and I told Grapes & Grains in Hawkesbury that I like the beers that taste like grapefruit juice (like some of Bad Apple's). He told me mosaic is what I want but also said they're like hens teeth. Any advice would be appreciated.

Everwood has a decent price/lb for Mosaic (if you are looking for that quantity), although they are currently out of stock. I'd check in with them as sometimes they haven't updated their stock online.

Noble grape carries mosaic in both pellet and Cryo by the oz. I was at the burnside store last Friday and both were in stock.

We've also got Mosiac in-stock by the pound and oz. (in vacuum packs) and also by the oz. in nitrogen flushed manufacturer packs for maximum freshness. We are in PEI but do ship with flat rates all over Canada if you are interested.

Cheers!
Matt
