Flow meters

Is anyone using flow meters to keep track of how much beer is left in a keg? I built a 6 tap keezer with a built in LCD (see pic) that will eventually have an interface showing what's on each tap. The stretch goal would be to figure out how to install flow meters and interface them to a PC and show how much beer is left in each keg. Looking for any feedback I can get.

I've been contemplating building something to do just this using a scale so it can calculate based on weight.
Also that's a very nice looking keezer.

Worked pretty good, but I got busy and never finished. Someday I'll get back to it.
