Tri Clover Element Adapters

Post by Stoker » Fri Mar 30, 2018 11:22 am

Happy Easter Everyone. Happy long weekend to those of different faiths.
Question for the masses. I have an electric brew set up. I am looking to use a weldless bulkhead fitting to accommodate a Tri clover element adapter. There are two sizes available being 1 1/2 or 2 inches.
The question is what are the pros and cons of both.
In advance thanks for all the help.

Personally, I'd go with 2". It's wider & easier to slide the element in/out, especially if you're using a ripple element.

Depends on the type of elements you’re going with. I went with 1.5” in my setup because I’m using SS elements that have a 1.5” tri-clover fitting built in.
