We cracked open a 24 year old Chimay at Chalmers' place recently. It was good and had a nice yeast cake at the bottom. I'm coaxing the yeast back to life and hope to brew something interesting with them. Stay tuned.

I'm amazed that you had a bottle of Chimay for 24 years and managed not to drink it.

Now that I think about it I realize that Chalmers must have been ten years old when he bought it. Maybe that's why he put it away.

I can't take credit for it. BBB brought it, and I believe he received it in trade from a fellow in Europe.
Kyle, how are the little yeasties making out?

I can't see any action yet, but it's hard to tell with this volume and in a dark bottle.
