Keezer monitoring

I have been looking around for different software to monitor the amount of beer left in the keg and an interface. So far I have found only two.

That made me wonder what everybody uses to keep track of the keg and what interface they use.

Hmm I have not thought about doing this, I usually wait till I get the rush of CO2 and then pout a bit and wish I had put another batch on a few weeks before.
Seriously though, interesting idea and I would assume perfect for a Raspberry Pi.

When I think the keg is getting low, I'll pop it out of the fridge and weigh it on the bathroom scale. Subtract the weight of an empty keg, and presto, rough estimate of how much I have left.
On the other hand, I also do MacMan's 'crap, keg is empty' method all too often as well.

Here's a couple more that don't look too complicated. The first one uses a solenoid to pour the beer and the second one just measures while the tap is open. I was working on this idea too and was going to try the second method, but got distracted with other interests. I'll have to get on it again for a winter project.

Thanks for these two. They look interesting. The first I love but if you want different amounts it wouldn't work I think. The second is simple and awesome.
