2" Tri Clamp
I'm looking for a 2" tri clamp to finish off the current project in the lab.
I'm likely going to have to order one in but thought I would ask the group if anyone has one kicking around or knows where to grab one locally.
Nash has already tried to help but doesn't use that size.

Not that it mattered, 'cause I don't have one anyway. And I don't know of anywhere local to get them.

Is this a tri-clamp?

I have access to some, need to check sizes. What thickness are the pieces we are joining?
How quickly do you need it? I'm AWOL until the 20th.

Yup, that's them.
I had to get moving on my project and just ordered the equivalent of the 13MHHM200 from McMaster Carr yesterday.
It would be awesome if you have access to them in the future as I'm thinking we may need a few more of the 2" clamps.

Ok, got a problem.
McMaster-Carr has just sent me an email in response to my order telling me that they no longer sell to individuals in Canada due to customs challenges. They only do business with some select long standing customers in Canada.
Ratchet - I'm assuming that you fall into this category based on the last order......can you help?

You might be able to get something through these guys:
http://www.tricanada.com/pdfs/tri-can-f ... ochure.pdf
Or, maybe from DME in P.E.I.. They built Nash's system and may have spare parts of the size you need.

I'm copying this here in the event that someone else needs stuff from McMaster:
I placed the group order through work... And if we have enough people to place another group order I'm more than willing to do it again.
If your just looking for a couple things for yourself... Give schooner industrial a call (in burnside)... They can also order through mcmaster.

Doubt I'll be doing another group order until at least the new year... keep an eye out in the group buys area.

Re: 2" Tri Clamp
Nope, not yet.
A brewer friend gave me one but it's the old 2" version that has a true 2" inside diameter. I need the newer version that measures at least a 2-1/2" inside diameter. either that or an old school 2-1/2" version.
Still on the hunt, may have to wait until the next MC group buy.

Re: 2" Tri Clamp
I'm in business! Thanks to Nash's referral to Derek at Purity Stainless, Derek had the exact size in stock and $11 clams later, I can finally finish this project.
Special thanks to X, Ratchet and Nash for helping a brother out.
I'll post some pics of the final assembly shortly.
