East Hants Corridor water info

Post by andrewtrsmith » Sat Apr 13, 2019 11:56 am

Hi everyone,

For those brewing in the East Hants Corridor (Enfield, Elmsdale, Lantz) this is the latest water profile information I have. I'll try to keep this updated :) if there is anyone in Shubie, let me know and I'll see what I can get for those areas.

.... From the utility:

We treat that system with chlorine  (distribution residual range 0.2-4.0 mg/L) and fluoride.

Average from March 2016-June 2018 taken from Enfield WTP:

Total calcium 5.7 mg/L
Magnesium 0.8 mg/L
Bicarb. Alkalinity (as CaCO3) 7.1 mg/L
Sulfate 9.8 mg/L
Sodium 19.9 mg/L
Chloride 28.1 mg/L
