Looking for some English Yeast (Liquid)

Post by wcturnedec » Fri Oct 16, 2020 9:27 am

I'm missing Everwood a lot now, seems Noble Grape stock of White Labs is depleted and some locations (Oxford) aren't going to be stocking it anymore.

I looking to make a standard bitter and was searching around the HRM for some packs of liquid yeast, specifically looking for WLP002, WLP005, or WL007.

I use dry yeast in a lot of my other beers but have never liked the character (or lack thereof) I get in S-04 and don't want to London ESB (Lallemand) as its a poor attenuator.

Does anyone in the HRM have a pack of any of these White Labs strains? I'd be happy to pay full price!

If not I'll have to put in an order with East Coast Hoppers.

They had a decent amount of WL at Burnside last week as well, not sure about English strains. As an aside, that was my first time in the Burnside location which I had always heard was the best for beer, it definitely left a lot to be desired

I was in burnside yesterday for some coastal haze and the selection was lacking as Cam said. In saying that, I have some WLP002 for an upcoming ESB, but thats a week or two out if you need it. I can order some new stuff. When do you plan on brewing?
Kegged: Maritime Fog (NEIPA), All Ryell'ed Up (Rye APA)

Thanks Paul, I actually was chatting with Jeremy at 2Crows and they are going to prop up some Foggy London from Escarpment for me, so I’m taken care of now haha

As for Bayer’s Lake they have no English strains in stock at all.
