Yeast blending

I'm wondering if anyone has advice on blending yeasts to get a unique result.

My plan is to blend 3 types of yeast, dry crop off the first batch and dry so I can have a unique mix. Worst case scenario is I just have a subpar brew. Oh well.

But my main thought is should I blend it in a batch, or make a giant yeast starter out of the 3, use what I need and store the rest somehow? I only have a single 27L fermenter right now, so I can't make a big batch or blend 2 smaller blends. I feel 3 packs would be too much yeast for a 27L batch, so maybe only a gallon DME batch that I toss after I harvest my yeast?

Check out David Heath Co fermentation on YouTube. He has a couple of videos on the topic.
