Where to get a grain mill?

Post by CorneliusAlphonse » Thu Dec 23, 2010 7:25 pm

Hey all,

Just wondering where I should look to get a grain mill - Online, or is there anywhere in person? I was thinking I'd check Big Eric's, but that's a shot in the dark.

Cheers

Any homebrew supplier (storefront or online) should have them

There are a few places online, but I think one of the MOB guys is now a Canadian retailer for Barley Crushers. E-mail this guy, and tell him one of the local MOB members sent you his way:

I dropped him a line, asking about prices etc, and I mentioned there may be a couple of us looking at getting in on it. I'll post back here when he responds (or maybe in the group buys section). It may be a couple days since it is almost Christmas Eve :)

Thanks for the lead.

I had also been looking at this, which would not be nearly as nice, but it would also be a quarter the price... they only ship to the states though.

You're better off crushing your grain at noble grape (if that's an option) than using the corn mill.

I have a barley crusher and it's an epic job crushing grain for a ten gallon batch by hand. I wouldn't want to try with that mill...
