Flaked Barley

I'm brewing stout tomorrow... I just wanted to make sure that I don't need to mill my flaked barley? Also, I am taking the coffee grinder to the roasted barley based on Jamil's recommendation. Have any of you done this?
Thanks!

Yup, I've done both. You'll be happy.

I had the same question about flaked barley. I asked Ron at NG and he said it can be mashed as-is...no milling required.

There have been a number of times when weighing out my grain bill that I've absentmindedly

thrown flaked barley or flaked corn into the same bucket as I weigh my grain into. As stated above, you don't need to mill it, but if you accidentally mill it, it won't make a difference either.
