Newb with some questions

Hey everyone I just found this site and thought I'd intro myself and ask a few questions. I've been away from brewing for a while and just getting back to it, so I normally drink Coors Light (I know...light beer). I plan on tring a Festa Brew wort first any recommendations on which one to go with. Once I have that on tap I'll get a extract on the go what would be a good one to try? Keep in mind I like (love) light beer. I also plan on kegging any tips there would be appreciated as well.

festa just rereleased a Czech pilsner which I heard is excellent
I just bought one myself and will be making it this weekend

Extract is hard to do light beers sometimes... it tends to be a little darker, and a little sweeter (most light beers you go for dry not sweet). Festa is probably a better way to do the light beer.

They have a blonde and a ceam ale festa that would be good. I think the blonde is a lager so if you can't ferment cold just buy a us05 yeast and use that.

I did both the blonde and cream ale years ago when I was a ferment on premise, lol. They both turned out well. The blonde was a lager and threw a bit of banana as I fermented it around 14-15c.

So what does everyone do to cold ferment? I don't really have a cool spot in my house anywhere.

buy a freezer and attach a temp regulator. then ferment inside.

I use a cool spot in my house.

I ferment in the crawl space in the winter, and then lager on the back deck. If it's summer I just make ale instead.
