Cute. It looks like somebody took a bunch of grant money just so that they could make yeast cells make Smileys. Perhaps I'm getting a too high-level view

That's funny! I read the text on my phone so I didn't see the image until now - haha. This research seems worthwhile to the brewing world but you're right, many grants go to pointless research.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is important research, but the 12 year old in me (who's never far from the surface) immediately saw the Smileys
