I know it may be a simple question for you guys but I am new to Halifax and new to home brewing

I know of Noble Grape and another little store on Lacewood Dr who really specializes in wine. Are there any other stores I should be looking for?

I am trying to make an Irish Red ale if that helps

NG is the best place to get beer yeast. For your beer, 1084 is probably what most people recommend.

Plus Noble Grape will special order whatever Wyeast you want. They should already have 1084 in stock though.

I've got a collection of yeasts in my yeast bank, including some that N.G. can't get.
