Tap connector got stuck to the keg

Post by benwedge » Thu Feb 10, 2011 9:38 pm

I'm kegging with my friend's new setup, and the connector for the tap is stuck on. It sounds like a ball-bearing issue, but has anyone had this happen before, and do you know the best way to get it off? The keg is full right now, so we're hoping to not throw beer out.

Not really an edit: as I was typing this, my buddy poured some hot water over it and managed to get it to come off. So if you run into this problem, try that.

And it turns out he hooked the out up to the in. Note to fellow keg users: get the person who can read to hook the lines up.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.
