I bought some flaked rice from Noble Grape last week and the company label was for "The Brew Guys Ltd". Did a little search out of boredom and realized the address is the exact same as Noble Grape in Burnside. Anyone know what the deal is with that? Just curious if they're starting to carry a new line of supplies or branching out to start a new store dedicated to beer?

Brew Guys was the original name of Noble Grape, which then was changed to Brewingcentres, which was recenly changed to Noble Grape. Hopefully it doesn't mean your flaked rice is that old. Brew Guys was changed to Brewingcentres sometime between 10 and 20 years ago.

Oh brutal! I hope it was just an old label they were trying to use up... I was brewing back when they changed from Brewincentres to Noble Grape but was unaware of the Brew Guys to Brewingcentre change... thanks for the info!

I don't think you need to worry bout it being old. Pretty sure they just kept the Brew Guys label for their in house kits. Those were there throughout the life of the Brewingcentres name as well. Kind of like Our Compliments being the name of the Sobey's in house brand.

Brew Guys is still an active company... also affiliated with "brewing centers" and "somethings brewing" (both inactive corporations)

guess they may have a separate company for their ingredients then their storefronts.
