Would this be an good pump to transfer wort through a chiller and back?

With the $35 conversion kit it can handle up to 140 degrees. Or is there a better place to get a pump around here?

It doesn't appear to be Mag drive so you couldn't throttle the flow as easy. At $135 (with kit)+tax it doesn't seem much cheaper then just getting a march/chugger pump

Especially since there is a brewhardware group buy right now.

There shouldn't be a problem throttling the flow up to the specified 11 psi, but the duty cycle is a bit tight.

How does that work? Do I just buy from them or is there a process?

Also the march type pumps won`t transfer oils to the wort.

We do group buys to save a bit of cash on combined shipping (and sometimes will also get a volume discount). If someone is willing to "host", they'll post up their intentions in the Group Buys sub-forum (http://www.brewnosers.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=13" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). If you do not have access, please request it. In there, you can see the details for the brewhardware.com group buy. GAM is organizing it, and you should make your intentions known by posting your requests.

Regarding payment, etc, that is up to the person running the group buy. Some people will prefer to be paid up front (or at least a deposit), while others are OK with COD. The important thing is to pick up/pay promptly once the items arrive.
